Hey all!

Thanks for a fantastic opening night. As some of you are well aware, we at the NCC have undergone some changes over the last few months and have been working fervently on getting everything running smoothly.

In our attempts to do so, we ask for your patience as we settle on the final steps of developing our program to generate results in an efficient, reliable and timely manner.

We fully understand how important it is to get access to your results and it couldn’t be higher on our priority list. In the interim, here are the individual event results. Omnium results will be manually scored, posted and submitted to USAC as soon as possible.

Please note we are also making an effort to post results immediately following each race. We encourage riders to review results and submit any corrections or questions (or compliments!) to officials/registrars following their race.

These images are of the cards we had the chance to pass out to many of the 1,600 guests at the Chicago Bike Swap! We will be delivering them to bike shops throughout the Chicagoland area, and if you looking to distribute some yourself, please contact us for more information.

Next NCC Board Meeting: March 21, 2013

We’ve been doing our spring cleaning and organizing, so come to our next meeting to hear more in depth detail!

Village Green, 1810 Walters Avenue, Northbrook at 7pm on March 21, 2013.

In case you missed it, we published results from our last meeting. The vote passed, and we’re working dilligently to get everyone information on the changes.

And speaking of results, we’ve got a few 2012 ones for your viewing pleasure.

While we do have most of our sponsors tied down for the season, we are still looking to cover some nights. If you or anyone you know is interested in being a night or day of racing’s title sponsor, please send inquiries to comm@northbrookvelodrome.org!

Monday Night Training

We are continuing our Monday Night Training series, and look forward to see old and new faces! As usual, the cost is $10, warm up begins at 6:30pm, and the series will run through the end of August. We’re also proud to partner with Chicago Chiropractic & Sports Medicine during these training nights, coupling the tactics and mental training of the our elite leaders with Chicago Chiropractic’s professional knowledge of how to prepare the body for optimum performance. These nights are not to be missed!

Friday Night Kids and Adult Racing

Northbrook Bicycle Club will also continue their racing series every Friday from June 7th through August 16th (there will be no racing on July 5th due to the holidy). This is the perfect time to instill the healthy, competitive habits that track racing offers!

While we’re still ironing out details with the USAC Category 4/5 races, we do have a solid night schedule.

Registration and Racing
Youth - Registration is 6:30-6:55pm // Racing begins at 7pm
Adults - Registration is 7:30-8pm // Racing begins at 8:20pm
